With 37 years heading her own design firm, Diane Snyder has demonstrated a unique ability to combine style, luxury and simplicity earning her high regard among clients and professionals alike. Believing that there is always a demand for good design, she was inspired to create her own signature line of fashion accessories and gift items... the precursor to Diane Snyder Cashmere.

A little background...
What she noticed was that her top selling items were the beautiful cashmere sweaters she had designed. All hand loomed in Nepal by old world artisans, she began thinking, "why not offer a line of 66+ pieces with coordinating scarves and shawls and offer a choice of 13 colors." She had become acquainted with a vendor while attending a trade show in Hong Kong, and he had been producing her top quality cashmere sweaters using only the finest materials and workmanship. She was immediately drawn to the fact that he was working with several top fashion houses in Italy. By offering a range of color choices as well as certain styling options... customers are loving the ability to customize according to their personal taste. She offers 2 seasonal collections... Spring/Summer and Fall/Holiday and is delighted to know that Google has her as the #1 custom cashmere company in the US.

With a degree in fashion merchandising and a strong concentration in textiles, Diane is quoted as saying, "whether it is interior design or fashion design... color and fabric are such an integral part of the design process." She is inspired to create fabulous patterned scarves and shawls that coordinate beautifully with her cashmere collection. Drawing on her many years as an interior designer, she has been inspired by all these beautiful fabrics to design her scarf collection. By combining her background as an accessories designer supplying handbags to Henri Bendel, along with her many years as a published designer, Diane brings fresh ideas to each collection of cashmere sweaters. She loves the idea of offering great pieces... great items... an affordable luxury. In addition to her career, Diane has found a way to be involved in her community. She is a founding member of the United Way Womens' Initiative as well as a member of the President's Council of the Toledo Museum of Art.
